Kat Donina, Psy.D.

Dr. Kat Donina is a New York State licensed psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University, and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at The Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut with a  specialization in early childhood. Dr. Donina earned an MA with focus on Psychology in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University and her Bachelor’s degree at CUNY, Hunter College.

Dr. Donina’s clinical experience spans a range of settings including community mental health, school based mental health, and private practice settings providing psychotherapy, consultation, and crisis intervention. She has extensive experience conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents. Additionally, Dr. Donina worked on several research projects at Columbia University and The New York State Psychiatric Institute investigating the effects of loss and trauma on children, adults and families. She currently works in a private practice where she conducts psychotherapy and psychological assessment for individuals of all ages.  Dr. Donina is bilingual in English and Russian.

Heather O’Leary, Ph.D.

Dr. Heather O’Leary is a New York State licensed psychologist. She earned a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University. She completed pre- and postdoctoral training at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, with a specialization in early childhood mental health. Dr. O’Leary also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute, and is currently a candidate in psychoanalytic training at the William Alanson White Institute. She previously attained a Masters degree in Counseling from NYU and a Bachelors degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. O’Leary has a broad range of clinical experience with individuals across the lifespan, including early childhood intervention, parent-child dyadic treatment, college counseling, and assessment. Dr. O’Leary currently works in private practice where she provides psychotherapy for individuals of all ages, with a specific focus on relational and attachment based difficulties. Dr. O’Leary is also a part-time psychologist at LIM College and a clinical faculty member at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education where she teaches clinically oriented classes and supervises graduate students in psychology.
